USA's closing ceremony outfits revealed. All white, created by Polo.

That big ole polo pony on the shirt had better not be on those outfits come London time

I like the American ones... I think. The Canadian ones are atrocious, 80s lumberjack chic that will be sweltering in London in July. The British ones are bad as well, but they are Stella McCartney so it's not surprising.

I read on another forum that the Canadian ones are not actually their fiinal official outfits and these were already on sale since last fall so I get the fur hats and scarfs.

I don't know what the controversy is about. I think they look good. Classic and appropriate for the occasion.

The American ones are too preppy, and the size of that Polo logo is borderline offensive.

I really hope those aren't the Canadian uniforms. Scarves in the summer?

    And Great Britain...

I agree with the comment on the bottom of the page of the Australian outfit. with a straw hat, that will surely look like a school uniform.

The giant Ralph Lauren polo logo is extreme.

The purple Star Trekky outfits for the medal givers are very strange. Do not like.

I wish they'd gone all in for the national historic costume, as they do at other Olympic Games - Japan (traditional kimono), Greece (goddessy gowns). But there'd be howls of protest from some quarters if the medal guys and girls were wearing kilts...or painted their faces blue and worn animal skins like ancient Picts.

Okay, I've seen too many movies.

I understand the reasoning for the cuffs. In Salt Lake they specifically wanted the volunteers to stand out - especially those working with the public. Those cuffs will be seen instantly in any crowd. The cross pack looks cool. I still use mine and love it.

I found more pictures of more of the uniform - http://jezebel.com/london-2012/. Interesting comments about the hat below. Also http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012...?newsfeed=true

Here's a link with photos of several countries - USA, Italy, Armenia, Spain, Germany, Great Britain Korea. I quite like the ones from Armenia, but the prize, so far, definitely goes to Italy (Thanks to Armani).

Years ago (when the preppy handbook was a bestseller) I had a navy blue dress which looks almost identical to the white dress. I loved it then and now but I do agree about that logo. Yikes!

I may be in the minority but I like Stella M.'s design with splashes of red at the shoulders and feet.

God, why are 99% of Olympic outfits so fugly? No matter what fashion brand is involved, they're terrible.

I actually like the GB ones best out of what's been posted. The red clashes with the tonal blue, though.

The US ones look like England, circa 1930s except for the fugly polo pony. No longer the national team of the USA but of the Republic of Ralph Lauren.

It is pretty bland, but at least it isn't offensive.

I don't like us in red. That always used to be a Soviet color and I'm old enough to still make that association. I would like it better in blue - even if red is a winning color.

Red, fluorescent green (yellow?), brown, orange, grey, black, white - is there any continuity here?

o.o http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/olympic...forms-unveiled - OMG I hate what the women are wearing. Apparently it is some nod back to the last time London held the Olympics and what the NZ team were wearing then.
