To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.
Vive Les Bleus. Errr, I see your point.
The cycling outfit looks like the athlete is wearing a lobster bib.

just saw the pics.. I don't like them.. the official colours include red.. looks weird - I agree looks more like the scottish colours of blue and white.. with red being a primary colour it always stands out.. I think this might look bland - but maybe once all the athletes together it looks betterI do like the style though of the clothing and the cut..
Thanks to PI .. I discovered I'm actually a Nontheist

Dire.
As appallingly bad as the official logo.
Way too much blue...

I think they are nice. However, I don't know if I would know it was British if I was view them on the TV, without being told (like some of them so nicely do- why don't they all say Great Britain?). I don't think they are overly blue, but I think it is weird that the flag element has no red.
My main issue with athletic wear is that the pants aren't white. I will never understand why so many cycling teams do that to their athletes. This passes that test.
There really should be red in the flag part - the red round the neck just doesn't cut it - but after the logo and mascots I think this is just par for the course unfortunately![]()
I personally thought the GB kit looks awful - unrecognisable as GB. (That's what you get for letting a "fashion designer" design it, IMO. "fashion designers" should never have anything to do with that sort of thing.)

Here is the Australians' kit - I like it. Simple and recognisably Australian. Aussie Aussie Aussie!
The Australian kit looks exactly the same as the one they've always had. If they paid money for the redesign, I'd ask for it back.![]()

Saw during today's Gold Medal Game from the World Curling Championships that HBC has started advertising "The Team Canada London Collection" is now in the stores, but had my back turned so didn't see any of the clothes. Anything after the mess that they gave the Beijing team would be a massive improvement, but will hold my opinion until I see the stuff.

They do realise that it's a Summer Olympics right? I know English summers have a reputation but a fur hat is excessive.![]()

team canada might not survive the opening ceremony
I feel like I'm in a dream. But it can't be a dream because there are no boy dancers!
A sweater for the Summer Olympic Team? Really?
And I thought nothing could be as bad as the Beijing PJs. I was wrong.
I'd say thanks for finding that Fred, but...Yikes!!![]()
I understand that they are trying to make the outfits consumer friendly so they can sell this well into the fall, but seriously the fur hat is![]()
Canadian outfitters have really not being good at dressing our Olympic team in the recent years. I am a bit tired of the vintage look.
