Okay...Skater Grrrl is 13yo, Intermediate level this year, working diligently on double axel.
She has her program music for SP and LP this year.
She's a fast skater and she's an "athletic" skater. She doesn't have a lithe build and although she takes ballet and needs to continue to progress in line, and stretch, and positions, she's probably also never going to be a lyrical, ballerina type on the ice. (She could surprise us, but still....) She's also not the personality type for Chicago/Sing Sing Sing/Harlem Nocturne. We saw a lot of that in Juvenile last year, and kiddo just doesn't "shake her stuff" very well.
However, she of course needs to be a well-rounded skater and develop her second mark skills.
Sometimes, seeing other skaters who are similar and successful can help.
Looking for any videos of women who are known for maybe not always being a natural lyrical skaters (ballerinas on ice), but who have strong artistry, style and ability to connect with the audience.
Thanks!
