FYI, I'm also posting Kurt's updates to the Kurt Files website, since Facebook is blocked in China:
    http://www.kurtfiles.com/forfun/kbfromaoi12.php

Also, thanks to our own midori, Google Translate, and my Chinese-English dictionary, I've got a program listing from the Taipei show:
    http://www.kurtfiles.com/events/arti...e12runlist.php

Any corrections would be appreciated .

I suspect the runlist will be slightly different in China, what with Yuna skating in Shanghai (and are there additional Chinese skaters - Song Nan and Li Zijun - joining in China as well?).

Thanks for the YouTube links, cmchan! It's too bad YouTube blocks "I'm Yours" on copyright grounds but it was fun looking at the other videos.

I don't suppose you'd mind looking at my runlist link http://www.kurtfiles.com/events/arti...e12runlist.php to tell me if I got anything really wrong?

can't find too many reports...I don't know how to use taipei's forum very well...

this is Shen Zhao's first program,Zhao song with a singer, and Shen sit on a "moon"in the sky, then the moon come down, they skate together, very beautiful and romantic:

    their second program"our 20 years",in red:

there are some videos on youtube, you can search for them.

according to some reports,S/Z and Plushenko are the most popular.

No, the copyright holder for the song, WMG, has it blocked in the US. It's why there aren't any good videos of Kurt's I'm Yours program on YouTube. Ah well.

Thanks for the verification of the list =). Hope you enjoyed the show!

Kurt *loved* the Korean crowds. If he were invited again and the schedule worked out (unlike the spring show which conflicted with CSOI), I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he went back.

By the way, last year's show was only 1/2 sold out even on the upper levels. I was quite surprised they decided to do this again as the sponsors probably lost quite a bit of money last year. This year they had a lot of Taiwan celebs in attendance though.

well, although they can't sell out those tickets, they give them to collaborator as a gift.the stadiums are always full.
TV and newspapers talk about the show and it's sponsers for free. The advertising effect is perfect. And it's much cheaper then do a TV ad for a long time.Hold an ice show is not very expensive here.
actually, most singer's concert here even can't sold out 1/2,their main income is from the sponsers.

The attendance was pretty good this year, probably boosted by a stronger cast.

I've read nothing but raving reviews from skating fans and non-skating fans.
