Viktoria Volchkova gives birth to a son

This is the only confirmation I can find in English (from Wikipedia).

Volchkova is also known by her married name, Butsaeva.[1] She is married to Yuri Butsayev.[6] Their son was born in March 2012.[6]
Congratulations to Viktoria and her husband!

Here's the Russian news article that's linked from wiki: http://sport.mail.ru/news/figure-skating/8330018/

The CSKA hockey club web site says their son was born on March 10.

Google Translate says that Polina Korobeynikova will be coached in Nice by "choreographer Galina Ishchenko and honored coach of Russia, Viktor Kudryavtsev" who coached Volchkova during her career.

Probably hard to spot the bump under that huge fur coat.

    I didn't even notice a slightest bump!

A perfect story for "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant."

Congrats, hopefully both mother and child are healthy.

I never expected her to become such a successful coach. So soon too!

Polina might benefit from Kudryatsev's tutelage. He's a living legend.

74-years old and on the ice during all the practices, actually performing jumps to demonstrate them to his skaters.

Agreed, and when she was on, her jumps were HUGE and beautiful. I enjoying watching her skate.

    That's wonderful news!

She was always one of my favorites when she skated, and I love that she's establishing her coaching career with so much success.
