    Grant Hochstein moving to CA

Grant is moving to Artesia to train with Karen and Peter Oppegard. Such a tough decision to leave home and long-time coach Lindsay O’Donoghue. Good luck Grant!

This is an interesting move, I would not have seen this one coming. Good luck to him on the Left Coast.

I love Grant and his enthusiasm for skating. His blog entry explaining the switch is very classy and he is clear in his gratitude to his former coach. I wish him all the best in California and hope that this move is a positive one for him!

I admire Grant's skating. I definitely think he could be one of the best guys in the US with a consistent 3A. I hope this move gives him what he is looking for.

I'm happy that he's attempting to improve.

It was sad watching him finally get the 3x only to slowly lose it again last season

    What a classy journal entry!

Detroit will miss Grant. Good luck to him in California.
