I can't be bothered to re-set the clock in my car twice a year (it's completely unintuitive), so I always just say it's on "Saskatchewan Time" all winter. As of today, I'm back on Saskatchewan Time until November, though that won't stop my mom from asking "What time is it in Calgary?" when we're on the phone.

Another reason it was moved to March was to promote retail. People are more likely to go shopping when it's light outside. From my experience in a retail environment, I did see an almost immediate difference in the number of evening shoppers before and after the clock change.

    Here's what I've always felt:

Leave the clock at DST the whole year. Move school hours from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Move "normal" working hours to 10:00 am - 7:00 pm. Almost no one enjoys getting up at the crack of dawn anyway, so shift the schedule, not the clock.

^ Where's the petition. I'll sign it. Those hours would be perfect for me.
