    This article made me so angry. Oh look, we reduced the bill to just a mere $160,000. Surely you little old folks can come up with that piddly little amount. I'd tell them I can only afford to pay them $5 a month and just send them $5 a month until the day I die.

    if it was a cheap term, say 20 yrs, when the 20 yrs is up, often you can keep coverage w/o completing a new app or requirements, but the cost goes way up because the life of the original contract is up.

    If it was term and it only doubled, it was a good policy. Sometimes you'll get 500% or 1000% increases at the end of the level term.
