When did Amanda and Jeremy split? I missed that one...![]()

From the good OLD days:
Natalia Bestemianova is married to Igor Bobrin (has been since the days they were both competitors), while
Marina Klimova is married to Sergey Ponomarenko.
improving my ballad- like lines
They went to vacation together and judging from their general behavior/looks I think they really are a couple, but I can't remember where I read it that they actually are.
If it's true that it actually is platonic it means
a. they don't regard themselves as (sexually) attractive
b. see each other as brother and sister
c. Andrew is gay
d. they aren't a couple anymore
Since I think that none of the above is true I'd say that it's stretching the truth... IMO, Americans are more conservative than us Europeans when it comes to living together before marriage especially at their age. So they're probably afraid to admit that they're actually living together.
"I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed, is, at a year old, a most delicious nourishing and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled; and I make no doubt that it will equally serve in a fricasie, or a ragoust." ~ 'A Modest Proposal' ~ Jonathan Swift
[QUOTE=Twizzler;3506474]So Fedor has been with Tanith, Tessa and now Meryl?? Is it prerequisite that to take from Marina you have to date Fedor??
I hope not with Maia please, she can make her own way to Worlds podium![]()
Just reporting what I read. I didn't say I believed it.

That has to go down in history as one of the weirdest articles out there...why publish such a line? There are plenty of skaters whose living situations we are not sure of, while there are a few examples of unmarried couples who talk about living together (ie Charlie and Tanith, who have a condo together)
There was an interview with Scali after he and Faiella stopped competing and in Detroit to join Krylova/Camarlengo's team in which he said he was hoping to find love, or fall in love, or something to that effect, which aren't usually the words of someone in a relationship.
If you're really not in a relationship with your skating partner, and everyone assumes you are, it could be to set the record straight for the benefit of the person you're actually in a relationship with. I don't know if that's the case with W/P, but there are valid reasons in general.

Who can forget Rena Inoue and John Baldwin, who famously had a marriage proposal on ice after their 2010 Nationals Pairs Freeskate performance? They now have a baby girl. Not sure if they have had the marriage ceremony or not, but they have been together for many years and have built a beautiful home together in SoCal.
Tiffany Vise and Don Baldwin are also an off-ice couple and skate together as a pair team.
I always thought Weaver and Poje were a couple since they have a lot of PDA going on when they show backstage shots..
The picture of the two of them as her facebook profile picture also looks VERY cozy and couple-ish.
