    I feel like a just lost a part of myself.... Davy and the Monkees were hugely important to me and my brother. We had all the albums, singles etc. and played them till the grooves wore out. I had the priviledge to seeing Davy, Peter and Micky perform twice in the 80's, that's something I'll never forget.

    We've lost a cultural icon of the 60's, and it's a damn shame. RIP Davy, you will be sorely missed.
