Oh Noooo!!!!
I remember always watching the tv series about The Monkees when I was little with my siblings. We loved it!
R.I.P.!
I loved watching the Monkees reruns on MTV when I was a kid.
Team Peeps!
Awwww, one of my first crushes!
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
Condolences to his family.
Thanks for the memories and may he rest in peace.

So sad, he was young.
Davey Jones guested on "The Brady Bunch". Marcia was president of his fan club.

Sad news though. I use to watch "The Monkees" all the time as a kid.

That's really sad to hear. Way too young. Definitely a lot of memories with their music and the show, as silly as it was.

He was my first "celebrity crush" - I was around 5 years old at the time.
RIP Davey.

Am I there yet?
He's too busy dying to put anybody down.
He was a very talented performer.
Predating the Monkees, he was the "Artful Dodger" in "Oliver", on Broadway:

He had real "magic", which he never lost.
I will miss him.
Deepest sympathy to his family and friends,
I feel like a just lost a part of myself.... Davy and the Monkees were hugely important to me and my brother. We had all the albums, singles etc. and played them till the grooves wore out. I had the priviledge to seeing Davy, Peter and Micky perform twice in the 80's, that's something I'll never forget.
We've lost a cultural icon of the 60's, and it's a damn shame. RIP Davy, you will be sorely missed.
Aww. That's so sad. Gosh, we are all getting so damned old!![]()
