I like the structure of the Chastain dress but am still on the fence about the pattern of gold on black. I am a fan of monochromatic dresses/outfits. I think a plain black would have been more striking and elegant.

Jessica Chastain's dress looks like they cut up a Joan Collin's "Dynasty" style dress and make the shoulder pads her bra cups. It is a very busy 80's pattern and color palette to me.

I have to say I like the gold lamé on the Clooney girlfriend. Not the best like Milla but not too bad. Hate her hair though. Brittle and overprocessed. Couldn't she have gotten a deep conditioning treatment?
