    Skating to Strauss waltzes

If we eliminate the CDs skated to waltzes, we still find many really good performances skated to Waltzes by Strauss. I like them a lot, although they are rather 'vanilla'. They are melodious but not dramatic, usually (with a few exceptions).

Here is my list of favorite performances skated to waltzes by Strauss:

Blue Danube- Kristi Yamaguchi (92 Oly), Bechke & Petrov (Pro in the 1990's)

You Million waltz- Berezhnaya-Sikharulidze (1997 worlds SP)

I don't remember which one this was, but Bestermianova-Bukin skated a humorous routine to it, around 1988 (pro)

The waltz in Die Fledermaus- Gordeeva Grinkov (89 LP), Todd Eldredge (SP- can't remember the year)

I think it was Susan Humphries who, in the mid-90s, skated to The Acceleration Waltz. I loved the music so much that I later used it for a program.
