And outraged That at a very important ISU event ., that coach did what they had to do
To make sure that skater did not win a medal. And guess what??? That coach had slot of

And I looked at that skater and felt terrible for them, but I had no right to open my mouth and would never so I left and just chalked it up to another robbery due to corruption. Believe me .. There are a lot of fans who would like to see improvements in judging. Why can't that discussion take place without the pointless 6.0 argument?

THIS. I've made some pretty big complaints about CoP but I certainly don't think the answer is to go back to 6.0. I think there are a lot of skating fans who think similarly. I'm okay with a more complex judging system, but I do wish they would find a way to back up the magnifying glass in the free skate and see the bigger picture.

Sorry, that's not "evidence", that's just a vague story that could have happened at any time in the last 25 years, if not more.

My problem with some of the arguments being put here is that they paint all officials with the same tainted brush. They do not take into account that it is a minority who are a problem, not the majority. But it is like the old customer service adage - if you get good service you tell one person, if you get bad service you will tell 12. In this case, people are going to scream loudest about the negatives, not the positives.

I hope that you have seen that some of us have said, numerous times, that there are many (probably the majority) honest and ethical judges. And, as I said earlier, the ones who play the games make it harder for the honest judges. It must make you angry that some judges do things that taint the sport and set up a bad image for all of you. You are right that people will scream the loudest about the negatives. But, these negatives are effecting the sport and the image it and you have. You deserve to be respected, don't let a few take that from you.

Australian judges do have a very good reputation for being honest.

Yes, that is true. Maybe because you are newer to the sport. You are not part of the "old machine". Hopefully, more and more new judges will be like you.

Ok.. Why would you think that I would repeat something that happened ten years ago?
This thread is about the new system right? Well this happened much more recent then
Ten years ago that would be old news. If you think it was in the single skater event...
Assume what you want. But... If I were to name the coach the federations that were
Involved and the judges... I'm sure that some would still not believe it.
So I say Aussie.. Go be an international Judge, and if I am still posting on this site

I will say in the last two years I have seen it getting a little better. But there really
Is a tug of war going on between the corrupt wanting it to remain that way, and some in
The ISU who are on to the game and making sure they try to break it up. But coaches
