I haven't received mine yet either, I will chase it up again if I haven't heard anything by next week. Have decided not to do TEB now so definitely want to make sure i get some good tickets for Euros

Finally heard from the Croatian Fed today. Apparently they have had problems with their server and that's the reason for the delays.
Hej,
I was looking at the Best Western Premier Hotel Astoria. Is it a long trip until the venue? How about busses?
It's not a long trip, that hotel is in the heart of the city. But considering that the route to Dom Sportova is on the very busy roads, it can easily get long You can take a tram and you have to walk.
The nearest hotel is Four Points by Sheraton Panorama, but I guess that will be the official hotel of the event. You have Petros Apartments (but that is not a hotel...) and you have Hotel Laguna that will probably also be used for the event. But you can always check.
Once again, I would recommend people teaming up and renting an apartment in the neighborhood of the arena. It is cheaper, the area is not pretty, but it is near downtown and you can easily buy groceries or eat out. Prices in Croatia are still much lower than in EU when it comes to food. The supermarket is 50 meters from Dom Sportova AND the neighborhood has its own open market with old ladies selling their stuff. One of the best pizza places in town is opposite hotel Laguna. I spent 2 months eating pizza in Italy, so I know what what is sold as pizza here is crap, but this place is the exemption.
I didn't hear great things about the Sheraton Panorama from people who stayed there in 2008, but it is very convenient for the venue. We were at the Westin which was lovely and downtown next to the Mimara Museum. We walked every day to the venue and I think it was only about 10 minutes.
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.
Mr. DaveRocks and I are staying at the Four Points by Sheraton. The reviews seem to indicate that it'll be okay.
Finally I received my Invoice and voucher for tickets
It took exactly 2 months from first e-mail sent. I am sure it can be organized in another way to make it quicker
Maybe that is the reason why there are so many free places when you watch skating on TV
I booked Astoria Best Western Hotel and it took 5 minutes ;-)
Regards
you take the invoice and photo id to the main ticket office and you will get tickets in return, but you must remember to bring the invoice and photo id. starting 20 jan.
Thank you, Sue. And where is the main ticket office? Is it in Zagreb? Is it at least somewhere within the skating rink where the Europeans will take place?
hanca, My understanding is you collect from the main ticket office at the rink.
If anyone is looking to save some $ and stay in a hostel, Chillout Hostel Zagreb is pretty cheap and located right in downtown Zagreb, they also had a "bar walk" when I was there.I also stayed in Hobo Bear Hostel, and the staff is super nice there.
Guys I just wanted to report that the email the official website provides for tickets it still not working, so use the one from a previous post !
