I was there in 2008, and there was no chaos. I think in the CD´s there was only hard core FSU fans around Of course, we don´t have the CD´s anymore.

But IIRC, there was no fights for the places, because at least at that time, the Croatian public was not very interested in figure skating. The seats are not very comfortable, but the rink is not cold and the walk from the tram is not that bad.

I received the same answer, though I have to get back to them and tell them that I give up on the Gala tickets; since they are included in the all-event. I have to say: what a bargain

On the other hand, A or D section? What do you think? Or the all-event ticket covers both of them?

Same - they didn't confirm A or D and I had to mail to cancel the gala tickets but they were very fine about it.

here is a good website that you can consider if looking for apartments in zagreb. it includes a map with the location of the apartment, available tram lines, a blueprint of the apartment and usually plenty of pictures.

Wheeeeeeee just booked flights to Zagreb! It was about time, I haven't been to ISU Champs since Tallinn 2010. Will have to start looking for accommodation now.

What's the deal with the tickets? Is a bank transfer still the only option to pay?

Have heard nothing yet, when I tried to contact them to ask when the invoice would arrive they were closed whilst they were on holiday but that was a few weeks ago now. Will feel happier when I have them in my hand, or at least an email confirming they are all paid for

I contacted for the tickets and got the same replay, but last week got a mail to fill with my info for the invoice, so waiting for it. So happy to plane the trip for Euros again, booked my fly for the whole week, Tuesday to Monday. Can't decide for the hotel, but looking for it.

I sent in my pro-forma on August 29th and they replied that I would get an invoice in 10 days, it has been nearly a month and so far no word. As anyone else heard back about the bank transfers yet?

I received my invoice a couple of days ago They may be a little bit slow, but sooner or later they keep all their promises. I'll try to make a payment this week and then write about my experience here.

I also just received my email with the bank transfer/wire details. My invoice is number 66 so I don't think there's a huge backlog to go through!

Buying tickets upon arrival in Zagreb shouldn't be a problem, right?

I just made the wire transfer at my bank. $30 service fee and took about half an hour. I've emailed them back and hopefully will be able to get confirmation by email when the wire transfer is received. There are no reserved seats, only reserved sections!

This is what they say in their email:

SEATS ARE NOT NUMERATED.YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE SECTOR WHERE YOU WANT TO BE.GALA IS INCLUDED IN ALL EVENT TICKET.YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR TICKETS ONLY AT THE MAIN ICE RINK TICKET OFFICE, WITH VALID ID AND VOUCHER NUMBER.WE WILL NOT BE SENDING TICKETS BY POST.

Is there anyone else who still hasn't received an invoice? My friend made a reservation for us but she is still waiting for an invoice even though she sent the information long ago...

I have paid about 2 weeks ago, emailed them that I paid and haven't received anything from them.

Eventually they replied and said everything is fine they will send the invoice soon. That was over a week ago!
