Well, you are probably right, but I'm still hoping they give it a try.

Vainly hoping for Khokhlova/Volobuev
Kylie Knight and Alan Stoll teamed up for the season but didn't make it past some preseason events. She used to skate with Ben Mulder, who is now with Stoll's former partner. Hope she finds someone--she is a beautiful skater.

Piper Gilles tweeted on April 21 that her and Paul Poirier's new (Yankee Polka) short dance music is to Mary Poppins (song or song not specified):
@PaulDPoirier.... And Our new Shortdance is........Drum Roll Please............... Mary Poppins!!!!!!!!
...
Yup its all choreographedI am in love with this program already

I'd guess "Supercalifragilistic"
Step in Time? I can see them doing that!
maybe 'It's a Jolly Holliday with Mary'
Both Step in Time and Super would fit polka timing best, I think, but since the compulsory dance is only a portion it is most likely a medley of at least two songs. I am actually imagining something quite fun here.
I think this is the correct order of the tweets between Poirier and Gilles on April 13-14:
Hey @PiperGilles , did you know a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down?!
[Her reply:] @PaulDPoirier it does? Well I think we should step in time step in time.
[His reply:] @PiperGilles Never need a reason, never need a rhyme. Step in time, you step in TIME!!
[Poirier in reply to someone else:]
Short dance is already complete and the free is well into the construction phase. More news soon!
[Gilles to Poirier:]
@PaulDPoirier Chim chiminey Chim chiminey Chim chim cher-oo! Good luck will rub off when I shake hands with you
[Poirier to Gilles:]
@PiperGilles Chim-chimney, chim-chimney, chim-chim-cheree! A sweep is as lucky as lucky can be.![]()

Nice blog entry about Worlds by Kharis Ralph.
Anyone know of any new ice dance splits since Canadian Nationals?
In juniors it looks like Bruser and Lum have split, he is on Ice Partner Search. In novice, Jessica Jiang and her new partner Eric (can't remember his last name) have split and they are both on IPS.

Mélissande Dumas / David Mackay Perry, 9th in Sr canadians, appear to have split - she's on ice partner search
