    Saturday, Oct. 22 2011 Hilton HHonors Skate America (LIVE) 3-6 p.m.
    Saturday, Nov. 5 Skate Canada International 4-6 p.m.
    Sunday, Nov. 13 NHK Trophy (Japan) 2-4 p.m.
    Sunday, Nov. 27 Trophee Eric Bompard (France) 2-4 p.m.
    Saturday, Dec. 3 Rostelecom Cup (Russia) 1-3 p.m.
    Sunday, Dec. 11 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final (Quebec) 12-2 p.m
    2012 Natls schedule


    Saturday, Jan. 28 Free Dance (LIVE) 4-6 p.m.
    Saturday, Jan. 28 Ladies Free Skate (LIVE) 9-11 p.m.
    Sunday, Jan. 29 Men's and Pairs Free Skate (LIVE) 3-6 p.m.
    Saturday, Feb. 4 Skating Spectacular 2-4 p.m.
    Note some changes:

    - SA is now THREE hours, up from 2 last year, and coverage airs SATURDAY instead of Sunday

    - Nationals will now split Men/Pairs on Sunday and Ice Dance will get its own broadcast window on Saturday

    Saturday afternoon coverage instead of football???? I'm betting a substantial number of markets will not be showing GP skating.

    I'm sure that the network set the schedule to accommodate its' coverage of football, be it College or Pro.
    Cable channels/stations now buy many of the "packages" that once "pre-empted" network programming.

    Except when local markets preempt which they do frequently to show local or regional games. If the regional University has a deal with an NBC affiliate, they'll bump skating everytime. Just wait and hear the this fall.

    My thoughts exactly. There won't be any fs coverage in this part of the world.

    The only football NBC shows on Saturdays are Notre Dame home games. So the skating will be scheduled around those games.

    Why no Cup of China coverage?

    Not looking at the GP schedule right now is NBC showing Skate Canada and NHK on a week's delay? Are Bompard Trophy and Cup of Russia shown with no week's delay? GP Final is same weekend coverage, right?

    Notre Dame has had home night games before vs both Michigan State and Michigan so I assume you mean they're hosting USC at night for the first time.

    We are waiting to get Cincinnati Bell Fioptics here in our area, we would rather hold out for that than get DirectTV. It will be good to have some coverage on NBC to hold me until then. My stepdaughter has Fioptics and loves it. They have the perfect sports package for me and my husband.

    Hopefully I will have Universal Sports by Worlds or sooner. We have Insight right now and they don't even offer a package that includes Universal Sports...they pretty much suck overall. I will still probably subscribe to Universal Sports online...I like to see more skaters than the top 3 or 4 which is pretty much what NBC gives you.
