Can't skate but love to watch
So cool! But the link is slightly off, here's the correct one:

Lucky spectators in Kingston!
Poor Jeffrey - get well dude. Good for you Kurt. Above and beyond.
If I had gone expecting to see Jeffrey and got Kurt I don't know if I would be more disappointed at not seeing the wonderful Mr. Buttle up close and personal - or squealing with delight at the surprise appearance of Mr. Browning.
Kurt is one of my all time favourites. I have seen any clips of him for ages. What jumps does he still do in shows?
What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?
Here's a fun program and nice video from the end of 2010: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yq8xtbo2Wiw
The same program from 'All That Skate Summer', August last year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z7Sc...eature=related
Another one (can't even be called a program, just Browning dancing, having fun and being charming on ice to Korean pop-rock song): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrhmJ5zBRQQ
What a nice thing for Kurt to do! I haven't seen either one of the programs he skated but sure would like to after reading the article!
Kurt's "Feeling Good" program from the TV broadcast of Unforgettable Moments of Love on Ice, a Disson special taped at the end of January and broadcast on the weekend. He's using this program for SOI this year:

That is amazing because he is my age (45).
I did get an autograph from him years ago when I went to 98 Worlds and he was there doing publicity. Nicest guy and commented on my Aussie accent (because one of his best mates was Cameron Medhurst).
Thanks for posting the clips. I will watch them later.

Browning is one busy hyper dude - Battle of the Blades, commentating for CBC, performing on SOI, appearing in a Red Rose tea ad. . .and now filling in for Buttle.
I find him annoying to be quite frank, but I rather amazed that he does all this at 45 or so, and never seems to tire.

Get well, Jeffy!
Kurt's still very much going strong - he's appearing at Rock the Ice 3 in Peterborough next week (Feb. 15) alongside Elvis Stojko, Sale & Pelletier, and others. He's also the choreographer and co-director of Stars on Ice this year, and choreographed the Celebration on Ice tour as well. That on top of skating in both tours. He's a spokesperson for Red Rose Tea and was doing the media rounds yesterday. Commentator for CBC, co-host of Battle of the Blades, and still skating in shows and tours... I also think he does a bunch of stuff I'm not even aware of (I do his website). He's one crazy busy guy.
Here are photos from the Kingston appearance:

WildRose already posted the Feeling Good video. Seems I'm Yours got taken down from YouTube, but here's a video on YouKu:

Some other random videos:

Kurt's semi-improvised "Christmas Time is Here" program from Holiday Festival on Ice in December:

"Storm Warning" with Hunter Hayes from Kaleidoscope:

There are more, but I will desist for now =).
Oh, and here's Kurt posing with the show poster (which amusingly shows the last minute nature of this substitution):
