Alec Baldwin has some new young honey, he's doing yoga classes with her, picture that.

Who back then would have thought Brenda Jenkins would be one of the most consistently employed actors in Hollywood? And she's barely aged a day.

I kind of love that both Clooney and Pitt lost the battle of the movie stars. I haven't seen The Artist and was kind of rooting for Bichir, but this is good.

I am glad the french actor won because I didn't want it to be George Clooney. Even Brad Pitt would have been a better choice.

I am really happy for Viola Davis. Adn it looks like a lot of her fellow actors are, too.

Wowza, new favorite for the Oscar? Was rather expecting Streep to take it but with this win I think Viola has to be considered the favorite to win now. It's going to be close me thinks. Not even Williams is out of it yet

I don't think Viola Davis is that much of a suprise. Meryl Streep herself recently wrote a piece for EW about Viola Davis.

I would get such a kick out of it if Bridesmaids won, but I do think The Help deserves it.

I had never seen Emma Stone until this past year, but I've become a fan. She was good in both The Help and Crazy, Stupid Love.

I finally saw The Descendants and was pleasantly surprised at how good Clooney was. I'm not much of a fan, but I think that he would've deserved it if he won.

I adored Jean Dujardin in The Artist, though, and I'm rooting for him to win the Oscar.

I agree that Clooney was really good. I haven't seen The Artist, so I don't know who was better. But, with all the talk of Clooney v. Pitt, it was fun to see someone else win.

    Please don't make me.

Sounds like Dujardin gave a delightful acceptance speech. I know he gave a delightful performance! Glad he won.

I don't think it's hate so much as thinking there are more deserving performances. I like Clooney and still think he's mighty pretty, but he always, IMO, seems to be playing himself.
