what is the highest scores possible for the free dance and short dance?
![]()
Proustable calculated it earlier this season. Thank you, Proustable: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...&postcount=261.
Max SD score is 81 and max FD score is 123.5
Can anybody explain me the levels for the compulsary dance part in the short dance ? I don`t understand why there are levels for the same dance...
The SD is divided into a "pattern dance" (this year the rhumba) and everything else. The pattern dance is treated as a step sequence. The levels are determined by how the 3 key points in a sequence of the dance are skated by the teams. There are very exact and rather nitpicky guidelines that must be met for the team to get the level for that key point.
No key points (but the sequence completed 75% properly by both partners) gets level 1
The other levels require 100% completion of the pattern by both partners
1 key point correct gets level 2
2 key points get level 3
3 key points get level 4.
.
The levels are determined by the tech panel. The GOE is determined by the judges.
Levels for the Rhumba
