So far, Shibutani's are the only team I've managed to picture skating the YP.

I could see W/P, Gilles/Poirier, Aldridge/Eaton, Samuelson/Gilles, Cappellini/Lanotte, Combes/Buckland pulling off the perk needed for this. But hey, some of the Chinese teams brought perk to the Latin dances so maybe even the Yankee Polka.

What kind of music will be used? Zydeco Bluegrass? Americana? Polka? Tejano? Irish? Norteno?

I have seen skaters who one would have thought were in great shape absolutely sputter on the quickness of the YP.

REALLY????? Oh man, this will be priceless. I remember some pretty funny YP costumes a few seasons back. It'll be worth it for the costume voids alone.

Oh yes. Someone overlayed the "Oh Susanna" compulsory music to this clip and it works even better.

It's one SD that I hope a lot of teams will go with Polkabration! throughout, rather than polky waltzes.

In 2003, it was polka, march, and waltz for the Grand Ball OD; that worked very well, I though.

I hate the SDs as a concept... I miss the CDs! But still... a Yankee Polka SD could prove to be so awful, that it couldp provide us with lots, lots, lots of snarky commentary... which would be more entertaining than the SD itself!
