CraftHope needs beanies and totes for kids with cancer
CraftHope just announced their first project for 2012. They are looking for handmade beanies and tote bags for kids with cancer. I know we have some crafty people here who could lend a hand.
I can't knit but I will rustle up some totes.

woohoo, awesome, thanks for posting this! I have some nice sport weight yarn I can start knitting with.

Excellent! I am going to try to recruit my coworker, who is a fabulous knitter, into doing some hats.

Crochet Me.com has a wonderfully large Free Patterns section and several patterns for both bags and beanies. You'll find them under the Free Resources section and then click on Member Patterns.
Enter at your own risk though...

um... anything "yarnie" is dangerous for me, lol. That reminds me, I've been wanting to check out KnitPick's cotton blend yarns!
