CraftHope just announced their first project for 2012. They are looking for handmade beanies and tote bags for kids with cancer. I know we have some crafty people here who could lend a hand.
I can't knit but I will rustle up some totes.

Crochet Me ~ Leftovers Purse/ Bag
I saw this the other night when going through the various freebie patterns in the Member Patterns section over there and copied/pasted it into my Word program to print out at a later date, as my Printer cartridges are pretty much done. Only problem was, I couldn't remember what page it was on over there after I saw Marge's posting here.
Having to go through all of those tempting projects...What a horrible time I've had tonight...
It really is perfect though, as who doesn't have scrap caches of yarn that while isn't enough to start anything w/, also isn't little enough in amount to toss either? I plan on making one for myself.
As soon as I get those new Printer Cartridges that is.
