Anyone knows when the early bird tickets will be available? I used to get advance notice but havent received anything yet.

There is a note (a tweet?) that I saw on the website that refers to an internet presale beginning today. I know nothing more but I always prefer buying over the phone when I can choose my seating rather than the way it's handled on the internet.

I sincerely hope we get to see Patrick Chan on SOI. He is absolutely mesmerizing.
Last year we went to see the Central Ontario awards and saw Patrick skate a couple of times from on ice seats.
It was great.

I used "Kurt" as the password for Edmonton and "Stars" for Calgary. "Iceshow" is supposed to be the password for Vancouver - will find out if that's right in 10 minutes LOL.

The email I just received for Vancouver says "STARS", so it does look universal.

Are there really only five participants (Browning, Rochette, Sawyer, Buttle, and Virtue/Moir) confirmed for the show?
For the prices SOI is charging, I would want to know more about who else will be participating. Although Kurt being director and choreographer might make the show worth seeing.

My guess is that other skaters will be added to the tour, following the results of Canadians & Worlds.

It's been a very small cast for the last few years now. For some reason either international skaters just aren't interested or the Cdn SOI can't afford anyone outside this group. If I get free tickets I'll go but I don't pay for it anymore.

Actually the cast was quite big last year - we also had Lysacek, Sasha Cohen, B&A, Sale and Pelletier besides the current suspects. Unfortunately we didnt see Virtue & Moir last year so looking forward to seeing them this year.

Yes, I was guessing that too, but my point was that I'm not really willing to pay for tickets now without knowing who these additional skaters are.
Especially if they are going to do the same exhibition routines that by that point I will have seen several times already......
