Finally getting tired after that awesomely intense and fun game to watch. All I could say right afterwards was, "Marco's got a ring!!". More than likely a pretty big goose egg on his noggin too from the bop he took during the Celebration. I'm sure the Champaign's taking care of any pain though.

Yay, Giants! Dance, PL, dance! lol I'm happy my 82 year old grandma got to see them win another one (she's ailing quite a bit now and has been a Giants fan since she moved here to the usa in the mid 80's). Also happy for in my mind's sick and twisted way, I think of this a payback since the Tigers blew the Yankees out, lol. Woohoo! Now I need to convince my kids' school to switch their Halloween parade to another day so we can go to the Giants parade! grrr

I've been a Giants fan for a long time, though I'm an AL girl all the way, and am really happy for them. (Could Sergio Romo possibly be more adorable?) I'm glad that it was them who beat the Tigers. It made the defeat a lot easier to take. Originally Posted by sk8er1964

Tigers have picked up the options on Dotel and Peralta and are bringing back their entire coaching staff. I'm just coming back from a couple year break from baseball so I don't know if this is good news or not but I did like what little I saw of Dotel in the world series.
