Brian Wilson.![]()
Brian Wilson.![]()
Barry Zito and Sergio Romo will be on Jay Leno tonight.
Roll Tide, y'all!
Zito isn't much fun in an interview, but Sergio is an absolute riot. Not Brian Wilson wacky, just a lot of fun...
You can find videos of him doing karaoke, and he does have a nice voice.
In baseball news, the Giants do not exercise their option on Aubrey Huff (thankfully).
More epilogues from the blissful parallel universe that is San Francisco, as chronicled by one of my favorite local TV reporters.

It's Awards time!!
CBC Sports ~Mike Trout, Bryce Harper win MLB rookie awards
I saw Mike Trout play earlier this year, and he is amazing. And Bryce Harper lived up to the hype, imo.
Well deserved.![]()
Bryce!!!! The Haaaaarper.
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
As a (brand new) Tigers fan, I would love to see Cabrera win MVP but I kind of think Mike Trout deserves it.
Roll Tide, y'all!
And Davey wins MOY as expected. Great year for the Nats!
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
The Tigers just signed Torii Hunter. Two years, $26 million, per a bunch of important people on twitter.![]()
Roll Tide, y'all!
Wow...Both Ontario teams, adopted and actual, have been busy the last 24 hrs...
Still waiting for confirmation on the big deal between the Jays and Marlins, but it sounds like it's only a matter of time.
I'll miss Torii, but there was just no room for him left on the team. Gary Matthews Jr. Mark II (aka Vernon Wells) is still commanding way too much money for being basically useless. Gods, I hope Dipoto can figure out a way to unload him.
RA Dickey and some guy in the AL (Price?) were awarded the Cy Young awards.![]()
Cy Young's awarded today...
CBC Sports ~David Price, R.A. Dickey win Cy Young Awards
Confirmed? It is by now. With that the Marlins FO and the owner, Jeffrey Loria, are confirmed as the most incompetent jackasses in the history of MLB. This was the same man that killed MLB in Montreal and is now doing the same thing in Miami. They averaged over 24K per game last season. They will not get close to that figure in 2013. We've grown a bit tired of his fall house cleanings to lower his payroll.
Good, I guess. That makes that many more people that may travel north to Ft Lauderdale to watch the Strikers.....
