No you didn't. I think they had too many days off again. When was his last start? It's longer than the usual four days, yes?

I knew he was really off his game when Zito got an RBI off of him....

    But it's early.

Sorry. Like PL said, they had too many days off to be as sharp. It happens in the NHL too...

    Sandoval!!! Wowow.

It has been a bad day for my teams. I am going to bed and when tomorrow begins, I'm starting it off with skating. Can't go wrong with watching practices.

    Zito and Lincecum were MAGNIFICENT.

Let's see what Bumgarner has in the tank tomorrow. And maybe Panda can hit some more home runs.

Everything went the Giants way tonight.....

Panda with 3 HR's is awesome
Pagan gets a double on a hit that hits 3rd base
Posey starts a double play on a little nubber that he got right in front of the plate
Zito gets a single and an RBI off of Verlander
Blanco makes TWO excellent diving catches in LF
Lincecum comes in, gets 7 straight outs, 5 by strikeout

When all that happens, the Tigers had no chance

More good stuff going the Giants way...

Tigers idiot 3rd base coach Gene Lamont send Prince Fielder home with no outs in the top of the second, and Prince gets thrown out. So instead of 2nd and 3rd with no one out, tigers had a guy on second with one out.And of course they didn't score. Even Jim Leyland criticised Lamont's decision.

Blanco's sacrifice bunt stays fair and the Giants gets the bases loaded with no one out. Crawford then scores the first run by hitting into a double play.

Tigers weak bullpen shows up again. Too many walks allow another bases loaded situation and Hunter Pence scores an insurance run with a sac fly.

And Madison Bumgarner fixes his delivery problem and shuts down the Tigers on 2 hits over 7 innings. He was terrible in the NLDS and NLCS....yet he pitched tonight like he did in Game 4 of the 2010 World Series, just lights out!

I don't expect the Tigers bats to stay quiet, and I'm sure we'll see some good play once they get home. I am hoping that Cain is a bit sharper than he has been and that Vogelsong continues his awesomeness.

Hey Gang!! Sorry I haven't been around much, but a lot has been going on around here the last week, w/Dad ending up in the hospital a week ago tonight. Thankfully he got out on Wednesday and doing okay, but we'll see what we find out tomorrow when he heads off for Dialysis. Anyway...

Before anything else...Congratulations to the Giants on winning what will go down as a Classic NLCS!! Wow!!

    Now...The World Series.

Talk about the extremes in games. Game One, a blowout. Game Two, a pitchers duel. Both? Incredably entertaining and fun to watch.

Sandoval and his three Homer Game One was just unreal!! Mom was saying yesterday she wouldn't be shocked if all of the Panda hats in San Fran were not only sold out, but also any Halloween Panda Bear patterns and black and white material too.

Both games were just so incredible. Can't wait to see what Game Three gives us.

Inbetween Skate Canada coverage of course.

A zillion a year forthe big bats and they can't get a friggin hit against pitchers they should be blowing away.

I'd rather they'd never got here than to be embarassed in the World Series once again.

Yeah. At least I'm apparently not going to have to worry about game 5 conflicting with the Broncos on Monday Night Football.

    I can't believe how much this sucks and I've only been a fan for two weeks. {{{long-time Tigers fans}}}

I wouldn't mind giving Detroit a game or two just so I can see more Buster Posey in action... squatting...

I guess Detroit can take some comfort in that they kept the evil Yankees out of the World Series, but......it would be nice to see them score at least one run before the Series ends
