All skating fans should get a pair and wear them to skating events!

I highly doubt it. Blades aren't made for prancing, which is what you would do in heels like that. You'd end up on your nose.

No, the bottoms of the metal sections are not blades, but plates.
    http://www.yoursolesisters.com/blog/...boot-20111.jpg

They are for walking and the bottoms of the "blades" are leather.

(I am one of few idiots who ordered them thinking I can use the blades on lower-hill shoes, and now has to return them after realising you can't skate on these blades).

I guess many people thought they were real skates, and now these items are on sale...

Absolutely! They are based on the same principle as Japanese Geta shoes...

However, if you try on Geta shoes, your foot is flat. In the skate-shoe you are on high-hill and skates-platforms, so you have to think "geisha walk" and "ballet point shoes" and keep balance accordingingly.

I sure couldn't - I can't wear high skinny heels period, let alone with flat blades attached to them.

    Podiatrists everywhere are very happy

Speaking of skating, there's nothing to prevent someone from attaching a real skating blade to the bottom of a Jimmy Choo, for example, and skate in them. The blades, of course, would have to be customized.

These shoes are not to be worn for more than a few minutes to make an entrance at, let's say, a New Year's Party at Kempinski St. Moritz....... and then kept as part of one's "odd art pieces" collection.

None. They are sold out in my size.

Do I have to teach you people how to walk in heels? FFS, it isn't really that difficult.
