Book Review: PJ Kwong's 2010 book “Taking the Ice: Success Stories From the World of

Due to my skatecasts, Ive been getting sent a lot of books to review and giveaway to listeners. I finally have had the time to get started on this, and was hoping others might chime in with some of their reviews too.

My first review was Lucinda Ruh's recent book "Frozen Teardrop."

Yesterday I posted my review to Pj Kwong's "Taking the Ice: Success Stories From the World of Canadian Figure Skating”

Has anyone else read this book and want to add their thoughts?

Interesting reviews, thanks. Kind of horrifying to read that Lucinda Ruh suffered brain damage as a result of spinning! I had no idea spinning could have that kind of impact.

Thanks for your reviews. I might just have to buy those books.

So I have a verifiable medical excuse for *not* increasing the speed of my spins? (not that they are or ever will be anywhere near LR speed!)
