I loved most of his films -- even Gothic and Crimes of Passion, which got pretty terrible reviews. And Valentino (hilarious). I saw Tommy dozens of times. Didn't like Lair of the White Worm so much though.
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
I liked Crimes of Passion and Women In Love- what a cheerfully perverse movie that was. UK directors are true risk-takers compared to their US counterparts. RIP Mr. Russell.
