Cachoo listing two of my all-time favorite shows in Cheers and St Elsewhere. (Loved Carnivale, too, for that matter.)
Mark Harmon's mustache. But, hey, such was the fashion back in the day.

for Peter Tork fandom!!
I always thought Davy Jones was cute (though never a crush of mine), but that stupid Brady Bunch episode when Marcia got him to sing at the school dance destroyed any street cred (if there was such a thing back then) by appearing on that show, especially for "Marcia Marcia Marcia!!"
.
A little OT (or to make it relevant, here's the Theme song from The Brady Bunch), but even as a little kid of five years, Marcia worked my last nerve far more than Jan Brady ever did. The scene when she got beaned in the shnozz with the football was hands-down one of my favorite moments in that show.
Even at young age, I wasX infinity that she ended up going to the dance. My rampant
imagination at the time wanted the guy she ended up going to the dance with who she originally dumped in favor of the school hunk to tell her "oh HELL no after the way you dissed me," forcing her to be stuck at home alone the night of the dance and suffer that karmoic *poink* for being such a snotty, superficial beyotch
.

SSRIs keep you from reaching orgasm, and menopause keeps you from wanting one.
I'm glad someone else admitted this one first.
One of my very favorites!
And of course, M*A*S*H

My all-time favorite theme music, Peter Gunn, has already been mentioned. I loved that show. I was just a kid, but I was in love with Craig Stevens.
Here are the themes from my two all-time favorite TV series:
Andy Griffith Show
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzQXeC5O01Y
Dick Van Dyke Show

And a famous composition as theme music from The Alfred Hitchcock Show

I had to add this one. For a kids' show, it had to be one of the saddest sounding melodies.
Lassie (June Lockhart, Jon Provost series)

Three that come mind that I'd like to see skated to. Miki Ando skated to a piece of "Rome".
"Six Feet Under": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ainvoGG51kc
"Rome": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDDPd...eature=related
"Deep Space Nine": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsOE73pxpys
I don't like the mustache but he is still a honey--what a charmed life.
I wish HBO would have given Carnivale another season. There is so much bad fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal--whatever---it was nice to see that genre done so well.
(Beefcake--we used to simply clear Thursday nights to be a family tv night starting with Cosby and ending with NBC's fine drama's like Hill Street or LA Law. Cheers was always my favorite. This thread brings back good memories.)
Best sing-along ever: "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!" (ROWWWRRRRRR!!!)
dh is quite fond of the bass line from the Barney Miller theme song.

Ok--this is admittedly hokey but if you like fairytales- http://youtu.be/qeUhrLoMIYo
I'm also a Vonda Shepard fan and always liked the Ally McBeal theme and also consider one Barry White song something of a second theme song because it was used so much (and that unisex bathroom!)

Somebody had to do it (and if I missed it earlier in the thread, sorry)
