English translations of the Iliad

Any suggestions for a good one? I want to get a friend a translation for Christmas but I don't know which one to pick. I understand there may be a new one out.

I like the Lattimore translation. I've never read any of the others, but this webpage has links that will help you compare some of the different translations and let you judge for yourself.
