Have you seen what the weather is like here in NY these days? The magnolias in my courtyard were budded out last week and one more unseasonably hot day and they would have bloomed. I predict heat waves in January.

I purchased some boy shorts today. Black with purple stripes. Very comfy! However, on the off chance that we have our meet-up on the 8th, I promise that nobody will see them.

I spoke to my dad earlier today and started telling him about the No Pants thing. He cut me off and said he knew about it already, because "I see pictures of those loons in the paper every year!"
I confessed that I was going to take part this year.
He hesitated for a second, then informed me that he will make sure he's near the phone that day. Just in case I get arrested and need him to post bail for me.
My dad has a strange sense of humor.

I'm working, otherwise I would check it out. If the holiday booths are still in the park next weekend, I STRONGLY urge anyone who attends to find the Wafels and Dinges booth (in the northwest corner of the park) and try a waffle with spekuloos. You will not regret it.
