I got this book for my daughter for Christmas. It had me laughing out loud many times.
It's written in Leslie's voice and is truly a clever tie in with the show.

I want to get that for my bf! ^
Parks and Recreation is definitely one of the best comedies on TV!The first season started slow, but honestly improved with each episode. By the time the second season was ready to begin, NBC gave Greg Daniels and Mike Schur the freedom to develop it into more than "The Office Spinoff" it was originally slated to be.
I imagine it would be hard to come into the show now and really appreciate it / become an overnight fan; you definitely need to watch from the beginning. It's a very character based show and, at this point, many of the jokes build upon the audience's common knowledge of those personalities, their history, and their development.
The only sad thing about Parks and Rec is that The Office suffered, and continues to suffer, from not having Greg Daniels and Mike Schur's consistent presence and producing.
The hedgehog knows one big thing, but the fox knows many things.
No new episode tonightThere will be an hour of 30 Rock on instead. I guess that makes sense, considering that last week they aired the Valentine's Day episode.
Also, apparently Paul Rudd will be in at least 2 more episodes, so hopefully that brings in some viewers.
