Stealing/borrowing an idea from another poster-
Here are my top 10 men (I did not include those who were only 'figures' skaters because it's hard to compare. Also I may have missed some of the older skaters that contributed a lot to the sport due my lack of familiarity with their performances. I did not include any of the currently competing skaters either).
1.Dick Button (2 OGMs)
2.Alexei Yagudin
3.John Curry
4.Toller Cranston
5.Evgeni Plushenko
6.Brian Boitano
7.Robin Cousins
8.Kurt Browning
9.Scott Hamilton
10.Ilia Kulik
Honorable mentions (not necessarily in order):
Elvis Stojko (for his contributions to the quad, and 3 world championships and two Olympic silvers)
Stephane Lambiel
Brian Orser
Viktor Petrenko
Alexei Urmanov
Paul Wylie
ETA: Looks like I did not 'steal' very well. The thread title should have been YOUR Top 10 men (not MY top 10 men). Can an admin correct this?

well anywho here's mine....
I sort of dont think he belongs there yet, yet I sort of think he does for his WR breaking performances last season. So he is a tricky one. He is definitely already a better skater than any of the Joubert, Lambiel, Lysacek, class are though, and a better competitor (despite the numerous falls at times) than Takahashi ever was.
