I didn't think it was possible to be flat-footed in high heels. She's got really athletic kicks but lands flat. (Also, memo to Randall's little Russian ladies in the costume shop: That top? Does not work with those fringe pants. Don't do it again.) But her flingy arms have improved quite a bit. Everything from above the knees was good and she was on time, just needed straighter legs and like Bruno said, on the toe.

(I saw Nancy, JR, and the instant dances so far. Anyone thinking they cannot let JR be the only 30 so Ricki will get one for her instant dance?)

I have to say I actually liked Hope's better, but Hope is springier and faster and this is jive.

There is something vaguely Standard-esque about Ricki's arms in Latin. It bugs me.

You have to give it to Nancy, she's no quitter. I think the twins, all the weeks of practice and two dances in one night was just too much for her though.

To her credit, I don't think she even once went on about how old she is and how that makes everything worse.

Yeah, not quite what I have in mind either....though to give Marie Callendar credit at least most of their food doesn't taste like a chemical processing facility (I'm looking at YOU, Healthy Choice...all the cutesy commercials in the world will not convince me.)
