Hope was asked about the Maks incident on Ryan Seacrest radio show. Hope Solo Almost Quit DWTS After Incident with Maksim

“I almost quit the show right then and there. I almost walked out, but I told myself I am in this for the long haul, through all the bumps and bruises, through all the challenges. Maks knew exactly where I stood with it and he knows that it could never happen again,” Hope tells us. “I did everything I could for our fans to not let it get the best of me. I did whatever I needed to do to control myself and to handle it outside of the cameras.”

I think you were onto something, danceronice. Hope said she was careful how to react (and not to react) to what happened because of how the show had portrayed her so far in the rehearsal clips. That's smart, but that pisses me off in a way because if someone shoves you and treats you like that you have every right to tell them exactly what you think about them right there and then. Wouldn't it be great if she said, "Do it again and I'm going to tie your balls behind your ears live on national TV"?

So that's another woman (after Debi Mazar) who comes out and says that yes, it was exactly what you saw (or even worse, in Debi's case) and Maks didn't come off as an asshole because of some editing trickery.

This is a really weird song to quickstep to (Take on Me) but Rob's improvements over the weeks is pretty amazing! He still has the odd awkward moments, but overall nice job. I wish I could say the same for the singer's rendition of the high notes.
