    Unhappy Andy Williams Has Cancer

    http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/06/showbi...html?hpt=hp_t2

Bladder cancer. He is 83 years old.

I still watch my Andy Williams Christmas Special DVD ever year, and I love his recording of Moon River.

He looks wonderful for 83. He's right---bladder cancer is not a death sentence. I know someone who had bladder cancer 20 years ago and is still alive and kicking.

I also love the Andy Williams Christmas Specials and always watch the Special of the Specials that PBS put together and show just about every year. It's just not Christmas w/out hearing his singing of those old classic Christmas songs. At least not in our house.

Wishing him the best and pulling for him to kick this thing to the curb!!

I love Andy, and I'm so glad he's a fighter. I know he'll do all he can to get better.

My family used to watch his weekly TV show when I was a kid. He used to close every episode by singing "Moon River". Wishing him the best.

Moon River might be one of the most romantic songs I've ever heard: Best wishes to our "Huckleberry friend." (And I don't even know all of it.)
