Carrie liked but noted they got out of sync at times.
Len said rough around the edges and frenzied, but high energy and fun.
Bruno basically said the same thing as Len.

Scores: 8-7-8 = 23.
Second place, for now.

Hey, judges, this isn't the old skating system, you don't actually have to leave room for JR and Ricki.

(That was more or less on par with Nancy, a little sloppy but fun. He got lowballed.)

Group dance night is always a killer for the couples that dance late. This is the one time you'd like to go first so you have a little rest time.

My mom, who rarely says anything snarky, just said (about Brooke) "Why doesn't she stop talking and just let the next couple dance?" Then about David "is he drunk? He never has anything to say"

It looked to me like Rikki's footwork was out of sync, but what do I know. Since Carrie Anne and Bruno are fixing to award her 10s, I guess not.

Ricki did really well tonight!

Len loved it but telegraphs that he won't give it a 10 by criticizing a head move.

Bruno raved about the style, choreo, showmanship, etc.

Carrie Ann calls it "poetry in motion," sharp, sophisticated and worthy of a Tony. Let's not get too carried away, Carrie Ann. I'm thinking 10-9-10.

And her footwork was a little wonky but not compared to David's. As before it's actually her upper body I have issues with--the pros need to just lock them in hold and keep them there and not do any figures in Standard that require getting back into proper frame.

I think that Derek is great at getting the best from his partners, but 10 for that performance was too much, IMO.
