Thanks for the tip, I'm booked for the full week. I figure I can always cancel part of it in the fall when the schedule becomes available.
I want to thank you Lord for being with me so far this day. With your help, I have not been inpatient, lost my temper been grumpy or envious of anyone. But I will be getting out of bed in a minute and I think I will really need your help then. Amen

I think "pre-sales" are pointless. Tickets are either on sale or they're not. And if there is some reason to allow one group preferred access to early tickets, I think it is normally unfair to others who may have paid (membership dues, etc)for the same privilege/benefit if the password gets publicized.

Now...with the rant over - I'm going to flip/flop like Romney and suggest that you use the password LONDON for the short presale on Thursday, since it is public information. Be sure to check the details here:

    http://www.1023bob.com/contests/worl...championships/

The more that I read about Worlds in London - sky high ticket prices, limited & grossly over-priced hotels (check out these tripadvisor reviews http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Hotel_Revi...o.html#REVIEWS
for a property described as "deluxe" by a tour company selling Worlds 2013 packages ,) the more I get at Skate Canada and ISU for making this decision. This is closest I can do to

The pre-sale code listed on that website is for Thursday, and with restrictive hours to purchase. It is not the pre-sale code for today.

Sounds like a lot of people aren't buying tickets because of the prices, so maybe those kind souls would share the code with those of us who are planning on going?

Thank you to the VERY kind person who sent me the pre-sale password. I sent it on to TanithandBenFan and we both have tickets.

I paid for my 4year old grand daughter's Skate Canada membership for skating lessons, but we never got a membership number. I can't reach anyone at her club this morning to ask about it - can some kind soul send me the pre-sale password?

Can anyone advise on how good the transport is if we were to stay at the Country Inn hotel for the event, it looks quite a long walk on google maps.

I live in the UK so have no idea of the area, any help is great!
    Thanks

I have the same question. I will try to call the Country Inn this morning and see if I can find out.

I just tried to book the Country Inn over the phone and I was told I can only book 9 months out. It was a central reservation call centre and the guy didn't seem to have any idea about walking to the John Labatt Centre.

That would be quite a walk in the winter (maybe 30 minutes or more?) but there should be a bus that runs along Wellington Rd that you could catch that would get you there quickly. You would only have to walk a couple of blocks from the bus to the arena.

The number 13 & number 1 buses are only about a block away from the hotel, both take you right downtown, and approximately 2 blocks away from the arena. That's my plan to get to and from the events. The buses generally run until midnight.
