    Tush parking

Are the arena seats padded? If I gots to sit for 100 hours, I may need to bring a gasket.

CoyoteChris, thanks for bringing up the "sensitive" issue of tush parking. I'm glad you did, because I hadn't even thought about it!! I just ordered myself a tush parking pillow similar to the one you linked. Now I just need to find some knitting needles and I will be all set!!

Old men such as myself have to think about such things....LOL Funny story. At Spokane Nats 2010, everyone was going across the street and buying pillows at the second hand store, Value Village. Spokane arena seats are molded plastic. Fine for a two hour concert...very hard after 100 hours. .

About 4 or 5 years back, I purchased a "stadium" seat at Canadian Tire here in Canada. Best $10 I ever spent. It not only has something for my tush, but also has a back providing some cushion and warmth for my back. It's a well used one -- been to figure skating comps, hockey and lacrosse games in many rinks across Ontario.

For once I'm thankful for my fat ass. No need to lug around a cushion...well, besides the one attached to me already
Voidy Swan, Dirty Carmen, Perverted Moonlight Sonata. God I love figure skating!

Tush Cush arrived in the mail today. Now to see if this "self inflating" thing actually works! And if after inflated, it can be deflated again and folded/rolled back to the size of a soda can....

    WHEE!!! I can't believe it's almost here!

Great idea! I usually just sit on a blanket that doubles as a leg warmer.

That's what I use too. My trusty Skate Canada throw. Under me for some cushioning for hard plastic seats, over me if the arena is cold.
