    The one by Midori Ito was a bit scary. At Worlds, it was slow and painful to watch, IMO.

    Even at the Japanese nationals, it was disheartening to see Midori make so many mistakes on jumps. The triple axel at the beginning was awesome though. At worlds, as you noted, it was painful to watch. I think she was having some health issues.

    I liked Angela's skate to Cinderella very much. She is a skater that does/did not get enough credit for doing everything right. Emotions are overrated. I liked her technical perfection. Of course it was great in 2001 when she put it all together.

    Yeah, you're right... I've somehow mistaken Cinderella, with The Sleeping Beauty...
    btw, one of the best programs of Nikodinov was in 2001 of SB by Tchaikovsky

    I feel nobody has skated to it's best potential, the Prokofiev's ballet yet

    Scott Hamilton skated to the quick theme of "The Prince's Search for Cinderella" (beginning of Act III of the ballet) in his long programs for a while...ca 1980/1981.
