"I miss footwork that has any kind of a discernible pattern. The goal of a step sequence should not be for a skater to show the same ice coverage as a Zamboni and take about as much time as an ice resurface. " ~ Zemgirl, reflecting on a pre-IJS straight line sequence

I did not realize that Julia would be age-eligible for Sochi. Wow. Russia might sweep the podium...seriously.

Arrive a day or two early and we can drive around moodily in an Alfa Romeo.

i wasn´t a sarah meier fan, too, but:

sarah was a 2time european medalist before, therefrom she should have won one definetly. furthermore she finished 2 times almost at the podium.

the best nora can show is a 8th place...

sorry, there are miles between them, sarah got her earnings she deserved (and this was one of the best moments in last years season), sorry, nora deserved not even a medal with her accomplishments until now.

No, Zagreb, Croatia. 2008 it was very cheap, the tickets, accomodation, everything. And the city is interesting.

Anyone who's on the JGP this season is age-eligible for the Olympics.

    It goes:

    Debut Season: JGP eligible
    Debut+1: GP eligible
    Debut+2: Worlds eligible.
The Junior Grand Prix: Where skaters who "come out of nowhere" come from.

Oh, what a great reason to go to Budapest. I was there briefly this summer and would love to see more.

I seem to recall an issue with skary looking (but ) sekurity people. Also the venue was very nice, but run North American style with a strict no outside drinks policy.

How can you tell that! It was the first time we have met! I am pretty devastated by your comment
