Who will medal here?
Who will medal here?
I think Brown will win this
1. Han Yan. 2. Jason Brown. 3. Artur Dmitriev.
Yan Han totally rocked last JGP. He's the one to beat.
1. Han YAN CHN
2. Jason BROWN USA
3. Artur DIMITRIEV RUS
Han Yan has it all. If he lands the 3A and quad then I don't think he will be beaten. Yan's jumps do have higher risk factor so if he makes a mistake than Brown. Dmitriev Jr can be inconsistent but should be good enough for bronze here.
Love both Yan and Brown. Yan has the harder jumps, but Brown does have much better programs and Yan is not known for consistency. It'll be an interesting competition to watch!
I hope Jason Brown will be on the podium
Hoping Jason Brown wins.
Brown does have the superior programs, But Yan does have the edge on jumps, and his programs are good enough that if he goes clean Brown wont be able to catch him, but if Yan messes up then Brown should be able to win, this should be acompetition,Dmitriev is the best guess for bronze.
I think Han Yan's got this, but I'm not counting Jason out. Artur Dmitriev is the best bet for bronze. Yoji Tsuboi and June-Hyoung Lee could be possible spoilers.
Jason really needs to up his technical content to get to the next level. Everything else is already there. He needs to try and land his triple axel. Only way to know if you can land it is to try it.
Jason tried 3A at summer comp but it was downgraded. He is working on it, but I don't think he wants to risk the downgrade call (especially in a SP) yet. If he makes it to the JGPF that might be an excellent time to attempt it in both his programs.
Anyway, I think the medals will go:
1. Yan
2. Dmitriev
3. Brown (but I'll hope he does better!)
My Life Would Suck Without FS-You
