In a nutshell, that says it all about how Johnny is viewed here and elsewhere. So right, Bittybug ... Love him or hate him, he's never boring. He quashes notions and expectations, and he transcends boundaries. Alas, he was unable to ascend the politically complex and formidably conforming fs mountain, not to mention unable to whip his own whims and talents into control. He did triumph however, in his own inimitable fashion on Olympic ice in 2010, and his The Swan in 2006 will forever be iconic.

Yeah, I guess if you're willing to take risks in fashion and in life, while not being a slave to what others think, then it's possible to wind up on both sides of all types of worst/best lists.
