Emdee, thank you so much for this report! I'm glad you had a great time!
Thank you for these, pani!
I feel the same way you do, Shayii! I can't stop watching it! I love how they put so much care into expressing each different section of music...the little flourishes, the quick responses to the changes in tempo. Like Emdee said, they have come a long way...I followed a bit of their junior career and always appreciated how they were just a little bit different. I have read interviews with them and have been impressed by their intelligence and maturity. Asher even came on the live chat during worlds in 2009 (where people comment on the skating and ask PJ questions during the broadcast) and he was very complimentary of the skaters. I am so happy to see them progress this much in their skating, especially given everything Kharis has had to deal with recently (her dad died the season before last). Anyways, it's nice to chat with fellow fans
I'm going to need you (and Doris) to explain the polka for me...I just know it is a Bohemian folk dance that was considered scandalous when it made its debut. Beyond that, I don't have a clue. any help would be greatly appreciated. I have seen some polkas (one in Germany
, and it is certainly a fun dance.
