I can't believe she is 21 already. It was not so long ago that she did not even age qualify for Worlds.

Happy Birthday, Mao! May you have a wonderful season and much happiness in your life.

A pic of Mao eating a birthday cake. She wrote that she had a really great time on birthday.
    Yummy.

What kind of cake is that?

It looks like green tea?! on the bottom and chocolate in the middle and pumpkin or mango on top?!

Yes, it looks like green tea or pistachio on the bottom and chocolate or red bean jam in the middle and mango or orange or pumpkin on top. Mango is very popular now among lovers of fruits and sweets in Japan, particularly in summer. Maybe it is green tea on the bottom and red bean jam in the middle and pumpkin on top? A cake of Japanese and Western style and taste mixed. People may prefer these kinds of cakes in autumn.

I think mango is popular in China too because I usually can order mango pudding in a lot of Chinese restaurants. But, I just hope she or whoever got that cake for her, got it because she actually likes it and not because she's restricting what she eats.

Reminds me of a vegan wedding cake I had two months ago. I've never felt so famished in my life after consuming a piece of cake. Oh well, good to know she had a nice birthday
