I thought I had Sephora (et al) sorted. I'd only go in when I had a coupon or other offer. Except now the offers and coupons come way, way more often. I picked up some necessities (primer, waterproof eyemakeup remover) with a 10% off coupon, only to get teh 20% off deal, complete with special offers if you came in opening night. Which I did, and walked away with a lot of decent samples (full-size in some cases) and such, but I definitely didn't need all the items I bought, like Too Faced's Glamour To Go.

So....since Korres discontinued their tinted moisturizer (seriously, just tell me if you want a product off the market, I can use it for you), anyone have good foundation recommendations? I have skin that tends toward sensitive. I'm not attached to a tinted moisturizer so any suggestions are welcome. Particularly in medium price ranges (I can handle more than drugstore but not Dior...).

Joining in on the Opium hate. My mom wore it A LOT. When I was little she'd terrorize me with Opium and now she terrorizes me with Vera Wang.

    This is shockingly tragic news.

I will have to go to Sephora and pick another favorite. Here's a list of their tinted moisturizers: http://www.sephora.com/search/search..._results.jhtml

    Here's my foundation: http://www.clinique.com/product/1599...eup/index.tmpl

It has a bit more coverage than a tinted moisturizer but it looks really natural, doesn't cake or settle in lines, and #24 matches me exactly.

This is the second winter season that my lips get so chapped. I am well hydrated, moisturized and everything and still chapped. Any advice or products you can recommend, oh the tiffed and glamorous ones?

Are you sure your lips are chapped and its not an irritation? I found out the difference after I noticed that I was exfoliating my lips too often and that a certain cover girl lip stick was causing rough skin on my lips.

I would try using Aquaphor a few times a day. I dont' care why at anyone says, Aquaphor is the best moisterizer for chapped, dry skin.

No, I am not sure. But lately I haven't been wearing lipstick or gloss at all. I actually feel that wearing lipstick and/or gloss in cold weather protects my lips.

Thanks, I will try it. Happen to have some in the house.

I like good old Carmex when my lips are dry and chapped.

I like this stuff called Herpectin. It's mainly for coldsores, but it really moisturizes well.

I've also used Boudreaux's Butt Paste in a pinch. Weird, but it worked.

You can find it at Target/Walmart baby diaper rash isle, . I had a tube when my kids were babies.

I will stop by Walgreens to pick up some toothpaste with Mini Ice on the way from picking him up from school. Wait til he finds out that mommy is buying Butt Paste, now that he can read.

ETA: feeling much better after 2 applications of Aquaphor. Thank you, Dr. topaz!

I've been using Loreal Skin Genesis Wet Cleansing Wipes for quite awhile now, but Neutrogena had their Hydrating Make-Up Remover Cleansing Cloths on sale, so I thought I'd give them a try. Holy crap, I love them! They even took my eyeliner/mascara off so easily and gently and they didn't sting at all!

When my lips get really bad, I will put Neosporin on them, straight from the tube - and not their lip balm brand, the stuff for cuts. It does a good job of healing any cracks or sore areas.

I used to wear Hypnotic Poison as my evening wear perfume for years. (I was probably an unusually mature and elegant smelling 20 yo )

Thankfully enough I'm not crazy about China Glaze or I would've gotten half the Hunger Games collection, the magnetic nail polish however...

I have a lip scrub from Lush that is amazing - I use it once or twice a week.
My go-to balm is Blistex Daily Conditioning Treatment.

Odd question, but do you do anything to exfoliate your lips? It actually helps your lips to retain moisture better. I sometimes use a liquid exfoliant that I also use for my face, or I'll use sugar mixed with a little water.
