Yay. I disliked his dancing and his attitude.

I do not agree with Metta/Ron/whatever he calls himself being out. He was bad but not worse that the famous for being famous fellow.

Given the Kardashians have a reality show we may be stuck with him for a while....
missed this tonight so thanks for the pbp everyone![]()
Thanks to PI .. I discovered I'm actually a Nontheist

I'm not watching the show but watched most of the dances online. I really liked Chynna and JR, thought Kristin and Arquette did OK.
Who I really liked was Chaz...not that he was the best but I was rooting for him, he did well and was a pleasant surprise. His footwork was much better than I would do. He seems like such a sweetheart, I want to have him over for dinner. If I did not know who he was, I would never suspect he used to be a woman, he really seems comfortable in his skin right now. Good job Chaz! Doing well is a good way to get back at the haters.
I didn't like his dancing, but here's a nice article about Ron Artest/Metta World Peace auctioning his NBA championship ring and donating the money to two children's charities.

Six years later the construct of “Dancing With the Stars” is being turned on its head. In some ways those pros — “Cheryl! Maks! Derek!” — have now become the headliners. The increasingly C-list celebrities lined up to participate have found they are no longer alone in the spotlight.

I totally agree with this. I don't really care who the *celebrities* are any more. It's all about my favorite pros: Maks, Anna, Tony, Val. They are who I vote for. Their partners are just so much fluff.

That's a very interesting article.
Thanks for sharing.
I happened to catch the end of an interview with Carson & Anna on Sirius Broadway on the way home from church today. It sounded like it was done before the first show was broadcast. Carson was very complimentary about Anna's ability to teach and to choreograph, including the way she was able to explain things so a non-dancer could understand. She talked a bit about doing choreography based on the partner, their character, etc. They seemed to really like each other a lot and he was feeling the pressure of doing all this live![]()
Can't skate but love to watch
