I like chocolate glazed and raspberry filled doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme's great, there's a store here, I used to live a couple of miles away from it.
My favorites though are from a local place called Spalding's, there are great!

I am not overly fond of donuts though occasionally I get a craving for a nice glazed one. And the Banana Nut TimBit is divine.
Delete. Wrong Thread.
I'm not that much of a donut eater, but I like Dunkin Donuts, especially the white creme filled ones (with powdered sugar on the outside), chocolate covered ones with the hole in the middle, with sprinkles (in Philly, we call them "jimmies"), and the fruit filled ones (apple, white icing on top).
When Krispy Kreme came to Philly, I tried a glazed donut. Sorry, but I didn't care for it at all. Our closest Krispy Kreme opened a few years ago. Eventually it closed, and a Dunkin Donuts opened in its place.
Tastykake is from Philly. Our out of town relatives like their products, so we usually buy them family packs, and bring them along when we visit them. My favorite Tastykake is not the donut, but the "kandycakes," especially when they are filled with mint and covered in chocolate.
I buy a number of the Entemann's cakes & pies - chocolate chip loaf, carrot cake, apple crumb, peach crumb pie. I wish they made Key Lime pie, yum! I like their donuts, especially the chocolate covered ones, but I don't buy them very often. I thought Entemann's was originally on the east coast. Has it branched out to the rest of the USA?
We've been to Canada many times, so I'm aware of Tim Horton's but have never stopped in one. A friend of mine who recently visited Atlantic Canada raved about their coffee. Now, I'm not a coffee drinker, but maybe I'll try their donuts next time we're up there.
I use to work at a golf course and I learned how to make fresh cinammon sugar donuts for the breakfast room - mmmm hot fresh donuts were the best.
Timmie's are okay - I like Boston Creme but I usually forsake the donut to get a large IceCap instead!
I used to love Dunkin Donuts donut holes when I was little. Most places, including KK, don't even make donut holes but DD made donut holes in nearly every kind of flavor! My mom would fill up one of their neat boxes and let us take them to school to share.

A donut is a donut if it has a hole, filled donuts should be called something else, well, according to me.
I don't care for filled "donuts" of any kind.
Like Dunkin Donuts better than Krispy Kreme's.
Sour Cream cake (Yumm all those crunchy edges)
I sent my husband out for donuts this morning. I blame this thread.
I like Tim Horton's. And Dunkin Donuts. And Entemann's (sp?) And the local grocery store here makes great ones. Ah hell, I like donuts. I don't eat them often though. If they somehow became a health food, I could absolutely live on an all donut diet.
I agree with Artemis. There is not one thing from Tim Hortons that isn't vile. How it got so popular I will never understand.
Oh, guys. You have me craving Dunkin Donuts gingerbread donuts. Unfortunately, they only sell them in the holiday months. Thank goodness the folks at DD think Halloween is a holiday. Let's see, with a minimum 4 week wait, I wonder how strong the craving will be by then?

There is a Krispy Kreme "factory" store (well, where they actually make the donuts in front of you) in the West End of Richmond. The warm glazed are just orgasmic little bits of heaven that melt in your mouth.
