I love this show. I can't wait to see what Jennifer Saunders come up with. As for the 2001 series, true it wasn't as good as the original three series, but I think there were some real gems in there. I have more faith in the new episodes just because I think the social and political environment now offers Saunders better opportunities to satirize.

On a related note, has anyone been watching the documentary series that Joanna Lumley hosts? Her journey up the Nile was excellent, and I believe there's one in the Arctic too. She also has one on cats.

She's an excellent host - articulate, real, engaging.

Hurray! Edwena, Patsy and Saffy return! I'm thrilled. Hell, I AM Edwena without the money. My daughter even looks like Saffy. I love this show, even the 2001 programs. They were all funny to me....

The first three series were really good, but after? Meh.

Still, it's kind of like the Sex and the City films. Even though you know they are crap, it's nice to have some old friends around for a while.

Patsy blowing smoke rings out her ass is my favourite scenario from AbFab. Can't wait for the new series.

Love the clip attached the blog.

Oh I hope it is a good as the original series. One of my favourite moments was when they went to France and did wine tasting.

What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?

Well you could have Eddy and Patsy doing a trip to the Antartic highlighting the need for Lacroix to use more polar bears in their advertising campaigns.
